Hugs

Before I talk about anything else, I have to say that I’ve had my mind occupied with thoughts of the tragic plane crash that happened Thursday night.  My heart goes out to the all of the victims, families, friends, communities and everyone else involved with flight 3407.  It’s so devastating to begin with and for some reason it hits even harder when it’s so close to home. 

Life is way too fragile.  Everyone should really be more thankful for every minute they have.  Try not to sweat the small stuff, be more happy with what you’ve got, and hug everyone more.  That’s definitely what I’m going to try and do.

Here’s a note my Molly left me.  She makes it real easy to love her so much.

She’s not always the perfect angel, but she does a great job pretending to be one in pictures.

And, just a few more hoots because I got such a great response from the first.

I love the note from your daughter! Mine loves writing little notes like that, too. I have a folder with all of them and want to do something creative with them some day!

I was thinking of you all when I started hearing about the crash. All my parents had heard early on was "near Buffalo". I don't know you in real life, but it was still scary to realize I "knew" people who could have been affected by something so tragic.

Glad everybody's safe and full of owls. :)

It's good to know you were concerned about us. We're all safe, thankfully. Heck, where would one get an adult sized bonnet if anything happened to me?
